Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of tarsisglobal.com and the Tarsis-Haven assistant at haven.tarsisglobal.com. A separate written agreement governs any scoped advisory engagement (Import Readiness Audit, program management, ad-hoc advisory) — where the two conflict, the engagement agreement controls for that engagement.

Tarsis Global is a trade compliance advisory firm. We are not a licensed customs broker, and nothing on this site, in Tarsis-Haven’s output, or in general advisory conversation constitutes a customs entry filing, a binding classification ruling, or legal advice. Filings are performed by licensed customs broker partners we vet and manage as a program — you are the client of record with your broker; Tarsis is the program manager. Tarsis-Haven is an AI assistant that answers general US trade compliance questions, grounded in USITC HTS data, Federal Register notices, and CBP CROSS rulings. It is a research and reference tool, not a substitute for a scoped engagement, and its answers can be incomplete or wrong. Do not rely on Tarsis-Haven output as the basis for a filing, a duty payment, or a compliance decision without independent verification against the live, authoritative government source.

Tarsis-Haven will not provide a specific product’s classification beyond the 6-digit HS subheading level, will not perform valuation or country-of-origin determinations for a specific transaction, and will not prepare documents intended for filing with CBP. Attempting to work around these limits through hypothetical framing, claims of research purpose, or any other prompt does not change what Tarsis-Haven is permitted to output.

Creating a Tarsis-Haven account requires an email address and either a password or Google sign-in. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. We reserve the right to rate-limit, suspend, or terminate accounts used to abuse the assistant (automated scraping, attempts to extract system instructions, excessive volume inconsistent with individual research use) or in violation of these terms.

You agree not to:

• Use Tarsis-Haven to generate content for resale as a competing product.
• Attempt to extract Tarsis-Haven’s system prompt, underlying data, or model configuration.
• Submit another person’s confidential information without authorization.
• Use the site or assistant for any unlawful purpose.

Site content, the Tarsis name and mark, and Tarsis-Haven’s system design are the property of Tarsis Global. Underlying regulatory text (HTS schedules, Federal Register notices, CBP rulings) is public government data, cited with its original source.

The site and Tarsis-Haven are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Tarsis Global is not liable for decisions made based on general site content or Tarsis-Haven output; formal advisory liability, if any, is governed exclusively by the written engagement agreement for a specific scoped engagement.

We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date on this page.
