Five ways Tarsis is engaged.
Every engagement anchors to one of these. Pricing is published and consistent.
US Import Readiness Audit
A three-to-four-week engagement culminating in a written report your broker can use — or that supports your first broker selection if you don’t have one yet.
The scope covers four areas: HS classification review across your active SKU list, valuation methodology and treatment of assists, royalties, and commissions, FTA qualification analysis for products entering under KORUS, USMCA, or other applicable agreements, and tariff exposure mapping across Section 232, Section 301, IEEPA, and Chapter 99.
The deliverable is a written report with each finding cited to authority — a CBP ruling, a HTS chapter note, a regulatory citation. Your broker gets the reasoning, not just the answer.
Starting at $19,500 for engagements under 100 SKUs and under $25M in annual import value.
Ongoing subscription tiers
Four monthly tiers for customers who want predictable pricing and a bundled service commitment. Each tier includes advisory hours, bundled entries, a compliance review cadence, and platform access when the platform launches.
- Essentials — $2,000/month. Four advisory hours, thirty standard entries, quarterly review.
- Standard — $5,500/month. Ten advisory hours, seventy-five any-tier entries, monthly review.
- Advanced — $15,000/month. Twenty-five advisory hours, two hundred any-tier entries, bi-weekly review.
- Enterprise — Custom from $30,000/month. Sixty-plus advisory hours (or unlimited within scope), unlimited entries within scope, weekly review, custom integrations.
Overages billed at published rates. Thirty days’ written notice to cancel or downgrade.
Subscription is independent of the audit — customers may purchase either, neither, or both. Most customers choose subscription in year two after an audit has clarified compliance posture and typical volume.
Per-entry program management
For customers with variable or seasonal import volume who prefer entry-by-entry billing to a flat monthly rate. Ongoing oversight of Tarsis-matched broker partners. Tarsis reviews entries against classification and valuation guidance, flags anomalies, and adjusts guidance as conditions change.
Pricing is tiered on entry complexity:
- $25 per standard entry — single HTS heading, single country of origin, no FTA claim
- $55 per complex entry — multiple HTS headings, FTA claim, valuation adjustment, or Section 301 scope
- $100 per specialty entry — Chapter 30 pharmaceuticals, Chapter 87 automotive with additional origin substantiation, dual-use goods with export-control implications
Billed monthly on actual entry volume. No monthly minimum. Program cancellation with thirty days’ written notice, no penalty.
Ad-hoc advisory
For scoped-in advisory work outside subscription or per-entry engagements. Common projects:
- HS classification audit for a specific product line or new import project
- FTA qualification review for a new sourcing arrangement
- Tariff exposure assessment for pending duty changes
- Training for import operations or procurement teams
- Response support for a Customs Form 28, Form 29, or protest filing
Rates are anchored to the audit price band and quoted per project. Most engagements range $3,500–$12,500 depending on scope. Fixed-fee, not hourly.
The Tarsis platform
In design. Not yet available.
The platform will support the advisory work, not replace it. Planned modules:
- Classification decision support with citation-to-authority reasoning chains
- Landed-cost calculator with lane-specific defaults for Korea and Germany origins
- Tariff scenario modeler for evaluating exposure to pending regulatory changes
- Reasonable-care audit trail — versioned classification decisions with the rationale that supported each
Scope firms with the first cohort of advisory clients. Included at no additional cost for subscription clients (Essentials through Enterprise) through general availability.
